چکیده

Tiger nut (Cyperus esculentus L.), or chufa, is a plant that found in nature and cultivated for its edible tubers. The purpose of this study was to determine the chemical composition, nutritive value, vitro digestibility three tiger varieties using gas production technique. These were Sar??eker (yellow), Introduction 1, Balyumru (brown). Rumen fluid obtained from two cannulated Holstein animals. Time-dependent monitored at 3, 6, 9, 12, 24, 48, 72, 96 hours incubation. differed dry matter (DM), crude ash (CA), ether extract (EE), neutral detergent fibre (NDF), non-fibre carbohydrate (NFC) content (P <0.05). They also instantaneous volume produced time-dependent production. more onset incubation than 1 Sar??eker. However, over time, by digestion exceeded other varieties. amounts each time-point intercorrelated. It recommended these results should lead further evaluation vivo studies.
